As Association of ERC grantees, we are often approached by prospective applicants seeking advice on submitting a successful ERC proposal, preparing for the Stage 2 interview, and other information about the application process. Recognizing the value of shared experience, many of us are happy to provide one-on-one advice. To streamline and amplify these mentoring activities, we launched AERG MENTORING.
Kickoff Event: 1st ERC Forum in Serbia
Our inaugural mentoring event took place during the 1st ERC Forum in Serbia, held on November 22, 2024, at the Science Club Belgrade. View the agenda.
The event began with a brief introduction about the AERG by Silke Bühler-Paschen, a member of the AERG Board. This was followed by a compelling talk by AERG member Gerard Higgins titled “Securing an ERC Starting Grant - what worked for me.” The session concluded with an interactive discussion, allowing workshop participants to delve deeper into strategies and insights.
